Parking at Paw Mittens is limited:
We recommend allowing a little extra time when arriving for your cat’s drop-off or collection.
There are approximately 1–6 parking spaces available at the premises, identified by the "P" icons.
For a quick and easy drop-off:
Many of our customers choose to pull up directly in front of our entrance with their hazard lights on.
Alternative parking:
If the on-site spaces are unavailable, ALDI is located directly across the road, with a short walk of 5 minutes. (Marked on the map)
Travelling by train:
Paw Mittens is also conveniently located approximately a 7-minute walk from Homebush Station, making public transport an easy option for those travelling without a car.

Will my cats be enclosed at all times?
No! At Paw Mittens, we want every cat to feel comfortable, safe and at home. Cats are welcome to explore our space at their own pace, rather than being confined to an enclosure at all times. We understand that every cat has a unique personality. If your cat is shy, anxious or prefers to hide while settling in, we’ll respect their boundaries and never force interaction. Instead, we’ll give them the time, patience, love and reassurance they need to feel comfortable. Every cat receives dedicated one-on-one playtime, affection and individual attention. For our more social kitties, there may also be opportunities to mingle with other cats, provided they get along and are comfortable doing so. Your cat’s comfort and wellbeing always come first. We tailor our care to suit each cat’s individual personality, needs and preferences.
Do I need to bring my cat's own food and litter?
No, you don’t! At Paw Mittens, we provide quality food and litter for all our guests, so you can enjoy a hassle-free drop-off. We offer a selection of quality pet food brands, including Hill’s, Royal Canin, Taste of the Wild, Leaps & Bounds, Feline Natural and Ziwi. However, if your cat is a picky eater or requires a prescription diet, we recommend bringing their usual food to help maintain their regular feeding routine and ensure their dietary needs are met. Your cat’s comfort and wellbeing are always our priority, and we’re happy to accommodate their individual needs wherever possible!
My cat is very nervous or anxious. Is that okay?
Absolutely! ❤️ At Paw Mittens, we understand that every cat has their own personality, and some may need a little extra time, patience and reassurance to feel comfortable in a new environment. Our approach is always gentle and stress-conscious. We’ll never force your cat to interact or come out of hiding. Instead, we allow them to settle in at their own pace, providing a calm, nurturing environment filled with patience, love and reassurance. We also offer calming support options, including products such as Zylkene, Feliway and chamomile-infused treats, where appropriate. We always consider each cat’s individual needs and suitability before introducing any calming products. Our goal is to help your kitty feel as safe, secure and comfortable as possible, even if it takes a little extra time for them to come out of their shell. Rest assured, your cat will be treated with kindness, understanding and plenty of love every step of the way!
What is your cat taxi service, and how does it work?
At Paw Mittens, we understand that life can get busy, so we offer a convenient cat taxi service to make your boarding experience as stress-free as possible! 🐾 Our taxi service allows us to pick up your cat from your home and bring them to our facility, or drop them back home when their stay is over. We aim to work around your schedule, making it easier for you and your kitty. We also offer after-hours pick-ups and drop-offs, including very early mornings or late nights, such as 3 AM, by prior arrangement. Pricing varies depending on the distance, time and specific arrangements. For example, if you have an early flight at 7 AM and want to spend as much time with your kitty as possible before leaving, we could arrange to pick them up at 5 AM so you can enjoy those extra cuddles before heading to the airport! Simply let us know your preferred pick-up or drop-off time and location, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Convenience for you, comfort and care for your kitty!
