My Story
My love for animals began in childhood. From the age of five, I knew I wanted to become a veterinary nurse, and that dream has stayed with me ever since. Working in the veterinary industry for the past five years has only strengthened my passion for animal welfare and deepened my commitment to providing the highest standard of care for every animal I meet.
Being a veterinary nurse has been both physically and emotionally demanding, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Every day, I had the privilege of helping animals and ensuring they receive the care, compassion, and love they deserve during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Over time, I realised I wanted to create something of my own. Something that could make a meaningful difference. Even small changes can have a lasting impact, and that belief inspired the creation of Paw Mittens.
Paw Mittens was founded with a vision to provide a safe and nurturing space for stray cats and kittens in need, while also helping educate and support the community. At the same time, I wanted to offer a trusted boarding service where cat owners can feel confident knowing their beloved companions are receiving exceptional care while they're away.
Life can be unpredictable, and being separated from your pet can be stressful. Knowing your cat is safe, comfortable, and cared for brings invaluable peace of mind.
